Fasken Martineau welcomes four new lawyers to Ottawa office
Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today the addition of four new lawyers to the firm’s Ottawa office. Claire Vachon, Sébastien Lorquet, Judith Parisien and Marie-Andrée Richard will join the firm’s Labour, Employment & Human Rights Group.
Claire Vachon is a seasoned lawyer who specializes in labour and employment law as well as education law. She represents employers in all areas of labour and employment law. Fluently bilingual, Claire also represents all eight French Catholic School Boards in the province of Ontario and is a member of the Québec Bar, the Canadian Bar Association and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.
Sébastien Lorquet has developed a strong practice in the construction labour relations sector alongside his education law practice. He advises clients on all aspects of individual and collective employment relations. Sébastien studied both common law and Québec’s civil law and practises in Ontario and Québec, where he pleads in English and in French. Active in his community, he has been Chair of the Festival franco-ontarien since 2007.
Judith Parisien and Marie-Andrée Richard join Fasken Martineau as associates, having distinguished themselves as capable labour relations lawyers and employment litigators. Both are fluently bilingual and practice in French as well as in English.
