Fasken Martineau welcomes seven new labour lawyers to its Montréal office
Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today the addition of seven new lawyers to the firm’s Montréal office. Robert Dupont, Stéphane Fillion, Rhéaume Perreault and Simon Laberge will join the firm as partners, while Alexis Charpentier, Alexandra Meunier and Valérie Gareau-Dalpé will join as associates.
Robert Dupont’s practice focuses all aspects of labour, employment, human rights and administrative law. A seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in labour relations, Robert advises companies on issues related to transborder data flows of personal employee information, collective bargaining and corporate restructuring. He is also actively involved in legal education and taught jurisprudence in labour arbitration, labour and administrative law and employment law.
Stéphane Fillion practises labour and employment law and acts in all related areas. He has appeared before most of the administrative tribunals in labour and employment matters and has developed broad expertise with respect to collective agreement bargaining. Acting as chief negotiator on many occasions, Stéphane is frequently involved in conflict resolutions, through tribunals and conciliation processes. In addition to his practice, he has actively participated in the activities of the Conseil du patronat du Québec.
Rhéaume Perrault’s practice also focuses on labour and employment law. He acts as a strategic advisor for many employers from the private and public sectors as well as non-profit organizations in various fields. He frequently acts as a negotiator in connection with collective bargaining agreements and represents clients before various levels of courts and administrative tribunals. Rhéaume is actively involved in professional development and frequently takes part in conferences and provides corporate training. A well-known author, he has published dozens of articles since 1997.
Simon Laberge practises in every area of labour and employment law in connection with collective agreements or individual employment contracts. He represents clients before administrative and civil tribunals in matters related to dismissals, grievance arbitrations, union certifications and occupational health and safety. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, services and corporate affairs sectors. Simon frequently acts as guest speaker and presents courses on various work related topics.
Alexis Charpentier, Alexandra Meunier and Valérie Gareau-Dalpé join Fasken Martineau as associates, their practices covering all areas of labour and employment relations, human rights and privacy law as well as employment litigation, collective bargaining and grievance arbitration.
