SARAH WOODS HONOURED AS AN AMERICAN BAR FOUNDATION FELLOW
Woods is proud to announce that Sarah Woods was recently selected to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and the welfare of their communities. The Foundation was established in 1952, and membership is limited to one percent of attorneys in each U.S. state and very few fellows internationally.
Sarah is a seasoned litigator who has pled before all levels of Quebec courts. Her diverse practice includes all aspects of commercial litigation, including securities litigation, shareholder disputes, and class actions. She is also involved in cases pertaining to professional liability, c-suite employment matters, and defamation. An active member of the American Bar Association, Sarah has acted as co-chair of the Regional Subcommittee (Canada) for the Securities Litigation Committee for several years.
