You are cordially invited to The Montreal Lawyer Magazine’s annual dinner to be held on Monday, May 29, 2017, starting at 6 p.m., at the Saint James’s Club in Montreal. CN Law Department will earn the distinction of Legal Department of the year (2017) during the event.

This award recognizes an In-house legal department that has found ways to demonstrate leadership by becoming more effective, innovative and creative in meeting the needs of its clients and its organization. The legal department must also demonstrate an efficient management of its external legal advisors,support of the company’s strategic vision, and full integration of the legal function with the company’s decision-making process as well as its overall strategy.

CN Law Department is closely linked to the company’s operations. Corporate Services, under which is the Law Department, established a strategic vision focused around three pillars: engagement, collaboration and leadership. At the award ceremony, you will have the opportunity to hear more about the exemplary approach used by CN Law Department and what makes its lawyers key players within the organization, , including a testimony from Sean Finn, Executive Vice-President Corporate Services and Chief Legal Officer at CN.
