MP David Lametti reappointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development
Following the cabinet shuffle in August, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau today unveiled a new team of parliamentary secretaries who will assist cabinet members in their ministerial functions. It is with great pleasure that the member for LaSalle-Émard-Verdun, David Lametti, has been reappointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
He will continue to support the Minister in the performance of his duties and to work with Canadians. He will help to develop an innovation agenda, improve the quality of publicly available data, and strategically invest in clean technologies. He will assist the Minister in his role to support Canadian businesses, foster economic development and encourage major investments that will keep Canada at the forefront of digital technologies.
